TRAVEL OREGON

Travel Oregon turned to Time Inc. as a content and distribution partner in support of a media campaign entitled “The Seven Wonders of Oregon.”  In alignment with the seven regional “wonders” of Oregon’s campaign, Golf magazine created an engaging interactive guide to seven noteworthy golf courses – one in each of the “Wonder” regions.

The interactive guide highlighted seven of Oregon’s world-class golf courses and featured stunning photo galleries that showcased not only the courses themselves, but the stunning beauty of Oregon’s “Seven Wonders” regions as well.

VIDEO: THE 7 WONDERS OF OREGON

“There are 7 Wonders of the World, and not a single one of them is in Oregon. Maybe whoever came up with the list had never seen Mt. Hood or the grandeur of the Columbia River Gorge. They certainly didn’t explore the Oregon Coast. The exposed earth of the Painted Hills, Smith Rock’s towers of volcanic ash and the alpine peaks of the Wallowas were overlooked as well. Even Crater Lake, the deepest lake in America, was left off their list.

So we see your Wonders, world. And raise you 7 of our own.”
